The Gini family has roots in the Soave Classico area dating back to the 18th century. They own 25 hectares of vineyards located in the best sloping parts of the appellation. It is a viticulture with very low yields and a focus on the expression of particular vintages. The resulting wines are not only among the best Soave, but also among the best dry white wines in all of Italy. Olinto Gini and his children, Sandro and Claudio have finally finished building a superb cellar that extends deep into the Monteforte d'Alpone mountain range. It offers optimal and natural control of temperature and humidity.

Der 2012er ist wiederum sehr schön gelungen. Er hat eine für einen Garganega-Wein sehr schöne und gut stützende Säure. Dies gibt dem Wein die Frische, die ihn zum idealen Apéro-Wein macht. Der Wein besitzt aber auch genügend Körper und Schmelz, so dass er problemlos auch als Essensbegleiter eingesetzt werden kann.Rating - Review by Jan
