Le vin est juteux, frais mais pas encore très causant. Au vu de son palais, un peu de garde est tout à fait indiqué, ce qui n'est pas forcément surprenant pour un Morgon. 2014, Domaine Dominique Piron, Morgon «Côte du Py», Beaujolais: Kräftiges Rubin, leicht aufgehellter Rand. Anfangs reduktive Nase, mit Luft immer spannender werdend, dunkle und rote Beeren, Thymian, Leder, Pfeffer, auch getrocknete Blumen, sehr gute Komplexität. Straffer Gaumenauftakt, frische, rote Frucht, Sauerkirschen, Blutorangen, dann ist da aber auch viel Terroir mit im Spiel, wunderbar mineralisch, dicht aber nicht schwer, sehr gute Struktur, markante Gerbstoffe, saftige Säure. Sehr langer Abgang, endet auf eine erdig-mineralische Note. Einmal mehr ein Top-Beaujolais und ein sensationelles Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis. 2015, Dominique Piron, Morgon Côte du Py, Beaujolais (Gamay): Kräftiges Rubin, schöner Glanz. Dunkelfruchtige, angenehm tiefe Nase, Noten von Brombeeren, schwarzen Kirschen, etwas Weihnachtsgebäck, dazu Pfeffer, sehr gute Komplexität. Im Auftakt mit Fülle und Kraft, sehr feine Gerbstoffe tragen die dichte Frucht, die Textur ist ungemein fein, der Wein zeigt Kraft und Dichte, bleibt dabei aber durchaus elegant und finessenreich, im Abgang ausgesprochen lang und mit viel dunkler Beerenfrucht endend. Die Nase noch etwas verhalten, braucht Zeit und Luft, ein Wein der fordert, einiges an Komplexität und Charakter. Saftiger, gradliniger Auftakt, rote Früchte, Grapefruit, Tymianwürze, sehr gute Struktur, ein Gamay mit Kraft. Einiges an Gerbstoff, der Alkohol und die Säure in guter Balance mit der Frucht. Purpurrot, schöner Glanz, erinnert farblich an einen "einfachen Bordeaux". 4/4Rating
In der Nase äusserst Fruchtbetont, viel schwarze Kirsche, saftige Brombeeren, dezente, an weissen Pfeffer erinnernde Würze. 4.5/6
Der Gaumenauftakt ist weich und fruchtbetont, zu den Brombeeren gesellen sich nun rote Beeren und eine an Magenbrot erinnernde Würze. Der Wein strotzt richtig vor Frucht und Saftigkeit, die Gerbstoffe sind dezent vorhanden, die Säure ist perfekt integriert und stützt. Im Abgang enorm frisch und anhaltend, macht riesig Spass und Lust auf den nächsten Schluck. 6.5/8
Ich erinnere mich an die vielen top gemachten Spanier die ich schon getrunken habe und versuche einen Grund zu finden, warum der Beaujolais eben doch nicht an diese rankommt. Es gibt keinen. Der Morgon hat weniger Kraft und Power, ok. Aber der Wein überzeugt durch seine unglaubliche Leichtigkeit und Ballance. Er ist mit 12.5% ungemein bekömmlich ohne banal zu sein. Er hat diese Fruchtbündel-Energie, etwas jugendliches, ungestümes... Einfach herrlich. 2/2 Punkte für den Gesamteindruck und somit 17 vvPunkte (90) für einen perfekten Essbegleiter, der geradezu excellent zum Ratatouille gepasst hat. - Review by Beckustator
