Sella and Mosca was founded more than 100 years ago in Sardinia by two Piedmontese adventurers, Mr. Sella and Mr. Mosca. The philosophy of Sella and Mosca is to link the two from the island of Sardinia: the attachment to the soil, to the land and the attachment to the sea.
In addition to the traditional Cannonau from Sardinia, Sella and Mosca produces a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine called Marchese di Villamarina. This wine is matured for 18 months in small French oak barrels, then for another 12 months in large barrels, then another 18 months in bottles before being marketed.
The Marchese di Villamarina from Sella and Mosca is a full-bodied wine that will delight the most demanding wine lovers. This wine is regularly awarded by the Guide Gambero Rosso, which almost every year awards it the maximum score of Tre Bicchieri (three glasses).
